Drive train.

The new engine is a 3,8 l supercharged V6 from a Pontiac Grand Prix 1999. When I bought the engine it had 320 miles (510km) on it. = NEW!

Internally the new engine still is standard. The only mod's now are:

The new engine is mated to a 5-speed Getrag transaxel with a light weight steel flywheel and a 6-puck ceramic SPEC Stage 3 clutch. The flywheel bolts are new upgraded to Porsche 911 Turbo and because of this the crank is rethreaded from 5/16-18 (Ø7,93mm) to M10x1 (Ø10mm).

I use a Haltech E6k engine management system to control fuel injection, ignition, fuel pump, cooling fans, shift light, and AC clutch. The Haltech system is maped (programmed) by a laptop computer. I have made a new engine harness by mating the GT 87 harness with the Haltech harness.
